Who Can Run?

Any adult OVR member in good standing can run for the Board of Directors. 

How to Declare Yourself as a Candidate

📌 Log into your OVR account (not SportsEngine) through the “OVR Login” link on the OVR homepage.
📌 Click “My Account” in the upper right of the screen.
📌 Click “Declare Yourself as a Candidate” and complete the form.
📌 Gather 25 online signatures by asking fellow members to log in and click “Sign a Candidate’s Petition” under their account.

Election Process & Timeline

✔ March 26, 2025 – Deadline to declare candidacy and obtain 25 signatures 
✔ April 1, 2025 – Voting opens for all adult OVR members
✔ May 15, 2025 – Voting closes
✔ Within one week after voting ends – Election results are certified and candidates are notified
✔ On or before the next annual BoD meeting – Results are officially posted
✔ June 1, 2025 – Newly elected board members take office for their three-year term
