Tournament hosts now have the option not to hire officials for adults' tournaments. Teams will do all officiating duties when assigned. The tournament entry fee will be reduced to $90 in this case.
Uniform rules have been relaxed for adult players. Only the jerseys must comply with USAV rules.
» Members' registrations must be complete before they can participate in OVR-sanctioned activity. If players show up who are not fully registered, the tournament director must collect their registration forms and fees before they play. A fee of $5 per member may be assessed for this transaction.
» All adults who work in any way with juniors must be background screened. No other type of background screen is transferable for this purpose.
American Specialty requires that claims be mailed to reach them within 10 days of any injury. Failure to meet this deadline may prevent or delay coverage.
It is the responsibility of the tournament host to make sure that the facility is safe and free from obstructions or other conditions that may cause injury to participants or spectators.
Uniform numbers must be clearly visible and centered on the chest and back. Each jersey must use the same color (excepting the Libero) and number height, minimum of 4" on the front and 6" on the back (recommended 6" on the front and 8" on the back) for all players. The line forming the numbers should be at least ¾" wide.
